Admission
Admission to the University of Central Florida is not dependent upon the college. Students are admitted to the university and can declare a major within the college. CECS does not have additional admission requirements into the engineering and computer science programs. To apply to the university, please visit the Undergraduate Admissions web site.

Transfer students in need of assistance with the transfer process should contact the Office of Transfer and Transition Services. Once admitted, transfer students may need to petition engineering and computer science related courses through the appropriate CECS departments. Credit for transfer courses may not be used to meet major requirements until the courses are evaluated and the petitioning process is completed.
